Picked up these at a local auction the other night they were in a grouping that had a few pictures that I wanted.

Need help with what they are, are they real & what era they are from. I know there is a WWI victory medal, a silver star (in pretty bad shape), a WWI tankers lapel disc, the only ribbon I recognize is fro the good conduct medal.

That SSM looks like it was drug down the road behind a truck.

The WW1 medal was given by the city of New Haven, CT to local vets I'd say.

Those are all common WW2 ribbons, see:

Thank guys. Yes the SSM looks like some kids used it for playing war. The New Haven medal is pretty cool since that's only about 15 miles from me.

I also picked up a couple nice tie pins in the lot, one of a P47 & the other a A20. There were 4 pictures German V1, V2, & V3 rockets also.

Sad to think whoever put that poster together didn't think to run it by an editor. The Navy and Marine Corps medal ribbon is upside down.

And yes, you Silver Star is missing its silver star.

A friend of mine at work has this bar that belonged to his grandfather who fought in WWI. I don't see anything like it on the chart.

He & I would both like to know what it is.
