WWII AAF flat wings?

Overall the construction and patina looks good on these wings but they are flat and not curved or vaulted.

 

Any idea of who might have made them... vintage or repop?

Look like 1st pattern LGB / Balfour to me. Can’t see anything wrong with them, these wings should be flat. Unusual to have a drop-in catch though.

I agree, could be LBG. I have a soft spot in my head for this pattern of wing (sometimes called the double shoulder or high shoulder wing (at least by some of the old timers I have talked to).

 

It seems that there were probably a couple or three makers that made these patterns of wings, including LGB, AMCRAFT, MFG co, and maybe Orber. Perhaps a few others that I cannot remember and a few that aren't ID'd. This pattern of wing probably started out pre-war but was used up through WWII. I have seen subtle variations between the various makers, suggesting strongly that they were made from unique dies, and not from a single source.
