I have a soft spot in my head for this pattern of wing (sometimes called the double shoulder or high shoulder wing (at least by some of the old timers I have talked to). It seems that there were probably a couple or three makers that made these patterns of wings, including LGB, AMCRAFT, MFG co, and maybe Orber. Perhaps a few others that I cannot remember and a few that aren't ID'd. This pattern of wing probably started out pre-war but was used up through WWII. I have seen subtle variations between the various makers, suggesting strongly that they were made from unique dies, and not from a single source.
