A display for a local veteran event at a local museum

Recommended Posts

I set up a display this morning for a local veteran function held at a local museum I have worked with in the past. While I used a great deal of the material I used in a recent display I did I changed the way I set it up and added a few things. Just thought I would share it with you. it was very well received.

A nice reminder that the best days of a collection are not spent in the man cave or the closet. As always, thanks for sharing Snow-Man!

And I looked, and Behold a Pale Horse:

And his name that sat upon him was death,

and Hell followed with him.

Great display! As said before, the light from the windows behind is the problem, not your camera. Next time try using your flash to help cancel out the back lighting.

Well done!

"I have only two men out of my company and 20 out of some other company. We need support, but it is almost suicide to try to get it here as we are swept by machine gun fire and constant barrage is on us. I have no one on my left and only a few on my right. I will hold." (Message sent by 1st Lt. Clifton B. Cates. USMC, 96th Co., Soissons, 19 July 1918 - later 19th Commandant of the Marine Corps 1948-1952)
