Can anyone I.D. this HMMWV variant?

Recommended Posts

Looks like a signal shelter and generator. Likely the new 10kw gen set and something for either a node hub or maybe even a shelter for SNAP equipment. It appears to be missing the air conditioner which would be on the top above the passenger compartment. It may be designed to hold the satellite dish up there as well... SNAP is a newer generation set up and replaces a similar type shelter for MSE equipment. Scott

The shelter appears to be one of many variations of the S-788 lightweight multipurpose shelter (LWS) shelter that manufacturer Gichner provides. The one pictured is the variant with "tunnel" over the cab.

The HMMWV appears to be a standard 4-door M998, though I don't understand the panel above the rear wheel.
