WW2 POW Mural at WPAFB

Recommended Posts

My son works at the base and took some photos of this mural. The building it is located in has been sliced and diced over the years such that the wall with the surviving mural is now a narrow corridor and you can only get a photo from the side rather than straight on.
Hopefully the photos will post okay.

The building is older so I suspect it will be torn down sometime in the future and a new building or parking lot put in its' place.

I've never seen the mural in person but of course my son has since he works there. The building is located in a 'secure' area of the base so not easily accessed by a civilian.
