Timberwolf Posted April 12, 2019 Share #1 Posted April 12, 2019 Hi all, I don't really collect a ton of German items (aside from pistols) but I do have a few pieces that have a lot of meaning. Recently a lady who's father was in the 104th ID with 414th IR, Service Co was kind enough to donate a German flag her father captured along with a few other items from his time in the service. I absolutely love the 104th ID connection as my grandfather served with them. Oddly enough she had mentioned that no museums wanted this flag so she was glad someone could be the new caretaker. Hope you all enjoy!

Indexred Posted April 12, 2019 Share #5 Posted April 12, 2019 The tail number is called a Werk-Nummer, and such numbers are generally traceable. There used to be guys on the WAF who could trace them. Maybe try posting the Wrk-Nr on the Axis History Forum.
