Can anyone ID this patch

Recommended Posts

I have a collection of SSI from my grandfather, and I have identified all of them except this one. The only information I can find is US Army Separate Artillery Brigade. It seems there were several "separate" artillery brigades, but I cannot find anything more on this such as a division number, or even a location. It was suggested that this is an early version of the Missouri National Guard patch, but I have been in contact with them and they cannot verify that. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the picture, it seems to auto rotate when I upload it.

It is a Patch King patch of a WWI unit. I don't have my book with me but I will check later if someone doesn't ID before I do.
