Can you I.D. this "Engineers" patch, please?

I recently bought some items that belonged to a father/son estate. The father was in the CAC, WW1, 41st Art. The son served in WW2 in the Army as a "signal corpsman, lineman, and engine repairman" per obit. He then served in the Navy post WW2 up to about 1952 and served on the Hospital Ship Benevolence, which sank in 1950 off San Francisco after a collision.

 

There are 6 of the these patches, 3" square with a twill background and some kind of plastic or glue back.

 

Are they military? Could not find them in my Stein book.

It's likely a civilian patch, but in this business, never say never.....

Thanks for the comments. I will keep my eyes out, maybe something will turn up.

 

Looking at the color scheme on your Engineering patch, it's almost the same colors as mine. Very interesting !
