jlhworks Posted April 1, 2019 Share #1 Posted April 1, 2019 Was wondering if someone could help ID/date this uniform. As far as I know, the shirt and pants came together - they are both of different manufacture though. Someone told me the shirt may be CISO or Japanese made in the 60's but I am not aware of CISO ever producing frogskin camo. The pants are named. Any help is appreciated! vintageproductions Posted April 1, 2019 Share #12 Posted April 1, 2019 Local made set in Okinawa in late 50's-60's. Nothing to do with Ciso.
jlhworks Posted April 1, 2019 Author Share #13 Posted April 1, 2019 Thanks Bob. Would it be safe to call this an advisor's set?
doyler Posted April 1, 2019 Share #14 Posted April 1, 2019 Will add it looks like shelter half material. As Bob stated Okie made. these were heavy and not very practical to wear
vintageproductions Posted April 3, 2019 Share #15 Posted April 3, 2019 Some advisors did take these to Vietnam, but quickly dumped them as the material did not breathe.
