help ID MP unit crest

i have these on a 3rd service command patched tunic with MP disks, pin back. I tried the reference thread but there is soo many deleted pictures there I gave up

Thank you Sir ! I still cant find much info about it online.. just some small pieces like the one that unit was moved from great lakes to Maryland in 42 (which would be correct for 3rd support command) and then moved to CA by the end of war, and inactivated in 46... then when activated again in 53 - crest was changed i guess ?

If i can ask - what is the reference you were using ?
