WW1 Brodie

Hey guys,

I picked this helmet up a couple of months ago. It's a British made Brodie by Hadfield and has the split chinstrap loop rivet. I say "the" because the other side is a nice field repair which I love for some odd reason. Character I guess. It has the gravel camo as well. I haven't try to ID the liner.

I realize that our U.S. soldiers were temporarily issued British made helmets when they arrived over there in Europe, but based on what you see here, can it be confirmed this was indeed worn by an American?

Thanks!

James

Nice helmet James. If its here, chances are good it was worn by an AEF doughboy.

Thank you Sir!
