phantomfixer Posted March 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 21, 2019 this was at an auction yesterday, the day was getting long and the locker was still hours away so I walked...but was a cool Air Service locker...my understanding, the field was in operation from 1917 to 1921, from wiki....joint operations in conjunction with Canadians, hence the roundel? Lee Ragan Posted March 21, 2019 Share #2 Posted March 21, 2019 That is the American roundel used in France during WW One. It has nothing to do with the Canadians.
manayunkman Posted March 21, 2019 Share #3 Posted March 21, 2019 Here is a tip for auctions where you don't want to wait. Find someone important and tell them that you are willing to start the auction at $100, or what ever high dollar amount applies, if they bring it up for sale soon.
