ID Brass Belt Buckle

I just found a belt buckle that I didn't even know I had. It is an open face, therefore, I believe it to be enlisted. The frame has rounded edges on the top, the belt keeper is on the hinge and the teeth are overly rounded.

On the bottom side, the frame is flat. The piece that locks to the belt itself has the words SOLID BRASS stamped on it. The frame under the lock has the numbers 749 stamped on the frame.

I am wondering what period this would be, WWI or WWII?

Hard to tell the dimensions. The WW1 trouser webb belts were pretty narrow. In my opinion its USMC for the webb trouser belt.most likely WW2 and /or Korea up through VN as they didnt change much.
