ATC Wings

Found these ATC wings at an estate sale this morning. There doesn't appear to be any hallmarks on the back. I'm guessing these were not military but worn by civilian "hump" pilots flying transport planes during the war? Anyone know if these are real or fake. First time finding these.

Nice addition to your collection! Numerous commercial airlines pilots were aggressively recruited by the ATC in the early years of WWII. Contrary to the opinions of some, I believe far more authentic "unmarked" ATC aerial badges were manufactured, than those with hallmarks. Well done Sparty!

I agree, I was really into ATC wings for a while ( wish I still had them all) and these look stone cold good! The ones to be particularly vary of are the Whitehead and Hoag marked wings. It's my understanding that someone on the east coast was making these from the original dies back in the late 90s.

USMC-RECON0321

Very nice!! Wonder if researching the estate will come back with any history to who they may have come from?

Congrats.
