M1894 .30-40 Krag belt. 7th Artillery Buckle?

Looking for help on the Mills double loop belt. Has an "H" buckle attached. Anyone know what the "7 A" is for? Thanks.

Also its a set of 7th Cavalry sabres.

 

Was also quite common to see these on brass bugles that were repro from the 70s and 80s as well.The shotgun News Magazine use to sell all kinds of this stuff....Winchester,Wells Fargo,7th Cav were the main fakes

I believe that I read where you can recognize the fake Mills plates by the placement of the patent info on the back. It is my recollection that on the original plates the lettering runs to the very edge, but on the fakes it is spaced as on the example above. in other words the fakes look more nicely done than the originals as far as the placement and spacing of the patent info.
