P-59A Posted March 1, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 1, 2019 I just finished up my restoration of this seat. I bought it from a guy restoring a P-51 C. He had found the correct seat and let this go. I color matched an original T-6 rear seat I have. This was missing most of the nuts and bolts that hold it together. I found period correct 1940's-50's aircraft bolts and lock nuts at that aircraft scrap yard I posted before. The lap belt is early post war nylon with the box X stitching. The seat is the later rivet construction seat back.
