V42 Posted February 28, 2019 Share #11 Posted February 28, 2019 All are very nice examples of V42's. All the blades and scabbards are in different conditions from use. One even has the field made back plate riveted to the scabbard so the user doesn't stab himself in the leg when he puts the blade back into the scabbard. You can see the differences in the blades as all were hand made and no two will look alike. They were not made on a machine production line. The men who made the straight razors were the persons who worked on the V42's. A very nice group of three V42's that should make you proud. dskjl Posted February 28, 2019 Author Share #15 Posted February 28, 2019 My son read the post and asked how many knives does it take to be a knife guy. I ask why and he reminded me that i have more than a few. He tells me we have over 50 knives in all the tubs including bayonets. I haven't looked in so long it funny how this stuff creeps up on you.
