PVON, those are great American Legion items. Do you have a complete collection of reunion badges? Were the school awards engraved to their recipients? Are there different variations of school awards over the years? Different makers?

I am sure there is lots to learn for those who haven't studied the American Legion in depth.

Thanks for sharing! I look forward to seeing more.

So I have a pretty large pile of American Legion uniforms from Michigan. All are blue, some are jackets, some have shirts and trousers. Anyone interested can contact me and for a donation to my museum plus postage, can have them. One or all. I think there may be 5 or 6 and I believe they are from the 40s and 50s but not really sure. All have patches and collar devices etc... Scott

A stunning pair of WWI American Legion Machine Gunner Bronze Bookends. A great set for the military collector to use in their library or display room. Show in relief a US Machine Gunner on a Browning MG with Uniform and Helmet. Are quite heavy and measure 6 3/4” high by 4 1/2" x 2 7/8”. Have green felt bottom and are in incredible condition.

Member sent me these pics lets see if I can post!

THANKS Paul, I really appreciate the scans upload ! Yup. I think I may have gotten lucky with these, as I was watching another pair on eBay for quite awhile. The guy selling them wanted $300, via the 'Buy it Now' feature, but I just couldn't see paying that price ! Well, I guess someone felt differently as one day I went to check & they had been sold ! Never thought I'd see another pair, until yesterday that is. Needless to say, I jumped all over them ! If anyone here happens to know anything about these absolutely beautiful bookends, please let me, & is know. THANKS

Best, dpast32

Here is a random photo of a proud American Legion member in his uniform and medals. Regretfully he is unnamed. Based on the bars on his Victory Medal, he must have been part of a lot of engagements.
