raw Posted February 16, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 16, 2019 My dad brought this back from the Philippines after WW2 ended (he was there at the end of the war), but I don't know what it is. It is about 3 1/4" long and 3/4" wide.

mcmike Posted February 17, 2019 Share #8 Posted February 17, 2019 Your dad picked this up for a reason, tho' we may never know why. Kanji calligraphy was very important at all levels of Japanese society, including the military. He may have picked this up as a souvenir somewhere in a Japanese military installation in the Philippines, so hold on to it.
