It was the grey backing that set it apart old chap.

Well we know that now. Lesson learned. Glad it was there when you went back. I saw it before Inspiration when Lena and I were out vintage shopping so not surprised. It was waiting for you ??

Is it German/Italian wool as used for their respective uniforms? They grey/green color sure looks like it.
