29th Infantry Division Reg for marking helmet liners - 1949

Recommended Posts

I recently found this memorandum issued by the 29th ID Division Commander, MG William Sands, describing the proper method for marking 29th Infantry Division helmet liners in 1949.

It may be a useful guide to help tell apart WWII helmet liner markings from post war markings.
