Hello all, can I get a little assistance in this soldiers uniform DI?
He was in Infantry 2ID during the Korean war as far as I know, but later he was track/wheel vehicle mechanic.

Thank you.

Good chance the time this photo was taken in the 52-54 period when he was in the 131st Tank Battalion, which was a part of the 31st Infantry Division, the 31st was on active duty as a training division at Camp Atterberry Indiana and later at Fort Carson Colorado, This GI looks like a good study, a Silver Star, Bronze Star w/ V, Purple Heart, and note a Army Commendation Medal, which was a rare award to EMs at this date, officers usually were awarded it, so much so that it got the nickname, Officers Good Conduct Ribbon/Medal.

Got a name on him catfish?
