Pbaczuk Posted February 2, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 2, 2019 Here is a neat tunic recently picked up. This one has an infantry patch and a chevron on the right sleeve and two service chevrons on the left sleeve. The hat was stuffed in the pocket. PacificGunner Posted February 2, 2019 Share #10 Posted February 2, 2019 Nice find, I rarely see stuff from the 30th Infantry Division come up for sale. The only piece I was able to find was a 30th ID uniform from WWII. I always thought they were an interesting unit, and I think they gained more recognition after Fury was released. I would love to find a WWII 30th ID uniform grouping for my collection.
atb Posted February 2, 2019 Share #11 Posted February 2, 2019 What you call an "infantry patch" is the Chevron for an infantry Private First Class. Yes, the gold chevron on the right sleeve is for a wound.

dag Posted February 2, 2019 Share #13 Posted February 2, 2019 Old HickoryVERY COOL! Thanks for sharing. I always thought it interesting that the 30th division patch was sometimes side-ways in WWI compared to WWII and into modern times.
