G-Company Posted February 2, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 2, 2019 Good day fellow collectors, last year i purchased this liner in La Gleize Belguim. It came wit a FS, FB post war paint, M1 helmet. The liner has a webbing that looks like bandoleer fabric. The A-washers are handmade so it seems and the rivets aren't the correct ones. The liner is a Westinghouse/Capac, it has brass studs for the leather chin strap. Inside the liner is marked with three letters: SGD/ SOD?? And untherneath the webbing there is a number stitched wich is: T807353 Has anyone any ideaa what this number means or was used for?

G-Company Posted February 4, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted February 4, 2019 Any one any idea what these numbers mean, or why they would have changed the webbing on this Liner?? Thank you in advance
Justin Posted February 4, 2019 Share #5 Posted February 4, 2019 Looked like it was a repurposed liner mold used by another countries military. Its unlikely this was used by US military.
G-Company Posted March 30, 2020 Author Share #6 Posted March 30, 2020 I would like to bring this up once more, since i did not find any more information about it. Maybe one of you know more about it. Does anyone have any more ideas or information about this liner, the webbing or maybe the number stitched on to the webbing? Thank you in advance
