A buddy of mine has access to this jacket. He suspects it was from a pilot/crewmember of a B-24. Anyone out there have an idea on the unit depicted? Is it a Disney design? Is this a WW2 jacket or Korean War? Ballpark value?

Thanks in advance.

The Squadron patch is from the 448th Bomb Group, 713th Bombardment Squadron, 8th Air Force. They flew B-24s out of Seething, Norfolk, starting in late 1943. Not sure who designed it, but it looks like something from Disney. It's a World War II type A-2 jacket, I would guess the value to be 1200 or more. My estimate may be low, so other forum member's estimates might give you a better idea of the value. It would also add value if you had the history of the vet to go with the jacket

Thanks for the quick ID on the insignia. I will have to do some more research to determine if it is a Disney design.
