Unknown Flying "M" Patch USS Midway?

I found this at a local antique store mixed in with some Maritime Service patches, mesures about 5" wide. I was thinking USS Midway, but really have no idea. Has anyone seen this one before?

Think I had it pinned down at one point to mid-late 1950s. I'll dig through my files to see if I can narrow it down. Jeffro

I picked up one of these with a group of patches from a USMC squadron commander assigned to the Midway in the early 1960's
