navyfamily Posted January 24, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 24, 2019 Hello All, So I have been perusing the web for at least a year at this point to research and determine if a RJ Stampings helmet could have possibly made it to Vietnam or at least came from the factory with the crimp on chinstraps. My findings have been mixed. So what's everyone's verdict? Any pictures? Research of any kind for one side or the other? Or even examples in your collection? Let it rip! [please ] Thanks, Duncan
aef1917 Posted January 24, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 24, 2019 R.J. Stampings started making helmets in 1970, and produced them with the crimp-on chinstraps until 1975-76, at which point they switched to the clip-on straps.
