First off, which company was contracted to make the later numbered strikes of this medal? How many plain numbered medals were struck? Also, I've seen plain numbered Army CREs of this type sell for quite a bit money. For example, #1783 sold for $1740 on eBay and #1795 sold for $2500 on eMedals. Is this strike of this medal really this rare? Pictures of mine will follow. This medal is plain numbered 1782 and is in very good condition. Thank you all for your input!
