These are black with the US Army eagle and the cross embroidered in gold yellow celluloid. When I saw them....I was very impressed with them when I saw them. These are the first ones Ive seen. Chap15 Posted January 21, 2019 Share #5 Posted January 21, 2019 Technically, they were called "chaplain's scarf". However "stole" is appropriate too. Recently a number of repro stoles hit the market. When I saw them in the estate sale I felt compelled “to save them” when in reality....I have been saved...thru Jesus Christ. I was just led to purchase them...I also liked the embroidery. This example is available for use by Christian Chaplains (both Protestant and Catholic).
