ParaMarine ABN Liner Leftover in Circulation 1945

Good morning fellas,

 

 

Stumbled upon this last night, Nothings wrong with the Listing, the post is about WHAT is in the picture. The Seller notes captions this is Iwo Jima, so 1945.

 

Here is the link where you can see the High Resolution. I also added the photo and cropped out the item of interest. Can you say Para marine leftover? At this point they were disbanded so. Liners right on into circulation; are my thoughts?

I agree late war they probably just issued them out. There mustve been a decent stock of these after the war. Ive seen police, CD and other auxiliaries using para liners

Wow, that is quite the place to find such a liner. Surprised he didn't cut them off like most grunts would have. Also is it just me or does the marine in question on the left with the liner have his socks rolled over his Boondockers?
