Bought this recently at a estate of a deceased vet. Can anyone here hel with finding out more about this soldier

Lt. Fuhrer is an O-3 Naval officer, not a soldier. The markings on the helmet are of the Navy Supply Corps insignia and two stripes signifying a Navy Lt. (Senior grade).

Hi Quark, I'd love to see more photos of the helmet, hard to see from only one, helmet could have potential.
