I thought I had seen this one on the forum before but I cannot locate it.

Any ID would be helpful sellers picture

 

Just sold on EBay for 15 dollars second time I have seen this one on EBay

Looks really close, Now to figure out what 4.0 represents if it represents anything other than an error.

4.0 could be a 4th Fleet task force or a submarine Group or Squadron?

I don't know anything about subs but I looked this one up. I said the Bumper was transferred to the Turkish Navy in 1950. This Japanese made patch was made much later than 1950. This pre-stitched embroidery style came around in the later 1950s. Just something to think about.

Yes, thats all correct.

 

It is probably a made for collectors, I am good with that. As long as they are inexpensive.

 

The fun is in the ID a lot of the time.

 

I am not trying to discount your response as it is totally correct and I appreciate the answers always.
