Band of Brothers... Captain Sobel finds contraband!

And so did I :P

Not military 100%, but the GI's sure enjoyed themselves with this one.

Added this nice and complete summer 1944 edition of Titter to the collection.

Thought it was worth sharing.

Peter

Nice ones, Gregory.

You must admit, when it comes to taking, drawingor painting "tastefull" pictures, these photographers knew what they were doing back then.

Without an arsenal of hard- and software to back them up.

Even the women were natural :-)

I guess the historical advisors for BOB did not double check that a scene taking place in 1942 would have a magazine from 1944 prominently featured in it.

Most of the pages were glued together probably.

Must have been the old printing ink.

God damn you're correct ! I Even re-watched the scene earlier this week, so thrilled the magazine made his appearance missing the fact they were training in camp Toccoa in 1942. HBO research error.

I have always been into ephemera, so this is kinda like the feeling helmet nerds get when they see a rear-seam swivel in a Normandy scene.
