mmerc20 Posted December 24, 2018 #1 Posted December 24, 2018 Christmas came a little early as I was not expecting the box to come until the 26th. I have been working with the granddaughter of the a Vietnam era special forces soldier. Let's just say not "any" soldier either. He was the CO of Detechment A-502 in 67/68! In the package were two uniform tops with a great pocket patch on both, a field jacket and a top with all but the name removed. I will hopefully be receiving more in the future to include one of his berets. She doesn't want to part with everything and I'm truly honored to be the caretaker of these wonderful pieces. Mike
gwb123 Posted December 24, 2018 #6 Posted December 24, 2018 Thank you for sharing... great that these are identified.
mmerc20 Posted December 24, 2018 Author #8 Posted December 24, 2018 Thanks! Any way to get a higher res version of that? She sent me a scan of this photo. Mike

mmerc20 Posted December 25, 2018 Author #12 Posted December 25, 2018 Really? I would be very interested in seeing it. His granddaughter said she has 8 or 9 uniforms total I think.
riflegreen297 Posted December 27, 2018 #13 Posted December 27, 2018 Very nice! Love the JJs with the LLDB patches sewn on vs being a hanger style.
37thguy Posted April 16, 2019 #14 Posted April 16, 2019 Bump for new info. Ever get the beret or any other pieces?
