GeneralCheese Posted December 4, 2018 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2018 This was found at the Goodwill with the Woodland 507s I posted a few days ago. It has two pockets, one on each side pant leg. Zipper is Talon 42, which apparently was manufactured during the 1960s. The only tag is very crude, with an RN number for Burk Mfg in Dallas, Texas. Any idea? The cut of these don't scream civilian to me, but they are certainly weird.

Longhorn92 Posted December 4, 2018 Share #11 Posted December 4, 2018 I remember when woodlands first came out I was in elementary or early junior high and really wanted a set. My dad found me a set somewhere and they were very similar to your pants, if not the same. I thought they were so cool. At the time I thought they were real BDUs. vintageproductions Posted December 4, 2018 Share #12 Posted December 4, 2018 The Talon 72 was used into the 80's on civilian jeans and work clothing

bravo_2_zero Posted December 7, 2018 Share #14 Posted December 7, 2018 I dug our an old screen grab I had of the matching shirt. Owen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk they also produced this with an almost after thought baggy smock style pockets on the bottom to make some sort of a jacket. what's also interesting is the trousers front print are a part not of woodland not normally seen, the stuff that doesn't make to cut in government contracted which is nice to see.
