Looks good. Takes a while to get it all organised.

Your off to a fantastic start. I never have enough wall space. i acquirer foreign medals with award documents then create a 1/2 scale English translation of the document and frame it all up together. If you don't do foreign stuff you could frame a US medals or patches with the story or each.

Very nice, excellent. Of course your soldiers pictured must be back from the front lines in those uniforms. The upfront guys carried in addition to their cartridge belt, two extra bandoleers, and some even more clipped bandoleers to feed their squads BAR. Accounts even state they carried an extra canteen cup and cover only, just to fill with ammo. The paratrooper's basic combat load was the cartridge belt, plus two extra bandoleers, minimum, plus a few feet of belted to link together and feed their Browning MGs. Maybe we can add a thread with war time footage. Here is a good start.post-180924-0-11872500-1543794585.jpeg

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I would LOVE to have a war room someday, but I guess I don't have enough stuff to fill it yet anyway.. ;D

Don't worry. If you keep at it, someday you will be like most of us and have more than enough stuff to fill up a room and completely cover all the walls.

"I never have enough wall space. " Over time, I wonder if any of us does. It's a physical law that collectors, like gases, will occupy whatever space if available to them. A bigger room or partitions are some answers.

To paraphrase Aristotle, "Collectors abhor a vacuum!" ;)

Dont worry about that. I never imagined I would have acquired this much stuff. Stick with it. One day you will look around and wonder where everything came from!

I am not quite sure how I missed this thread, but great use of the space! Nothing like a well organized display room, keep it up.

Great collection!!! We are currently shopping for a house. So I am looking for the biggest room I can get....I mean what my wife will let me have.

Right now I have a 10’ x 12’ and I am beyond capacity.
