Vpep Posted November 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 24, 2018 I picked this up from a guy selling it on craigslist the other day, so I thought I would share it. It was listed as a airplane compass by the seller, but when I got it, I was delighted to see a label on the box saying was from the Chrysler Tank Arsenal. It is the type 1829 vehicle compass, complete with its manual. What I thought was really cool was the ordnance stamp on the top. I hope everyone enjoys the photos. RustyCanteen Posted November 24, 2018 Share #4 Posted November 24, 2018 Very nice find. When I saw the thread title I was expecting an M6 Sherrill compass (which were common on the market about 15 years ago), but nope you have a super nice compass for a sherman. Great find.
