easterneagle87 Posted November 21, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 21, 2018 Picker friend of mine came across these goggles. Wondering if they are pilot/aircrew goggles

Ray42 Posted November 21, 2018 Share #3 Posted November 21, 2018 The shape of the frames seems similear to Russian or private purchase pilot goggles that I have seen on eBay. However, the strap connecting the two lenses is different from what I think is normally found on pilots goggles and is more like the ski goggles from WW2 so, while I could definitely be wrong, I would bet that they serve some other use other then pilot goggles. doyler Posted November 21, 2018 Share #5 Posted November 21, 2018 Not issue. Several excellent reference books out there. Agree with USARV72 THese are typically vintage commercial safety and dust goggles
CommanderBounds Posted January 7, 2019 Share #6 Posted January 7, 2019 Those look very similar to a type of goggle claimed to be used by the Luftwaffe or Mechanized Units by sellers. Not sure on the authenticity of their claims but they looks about 90% the same as what you've got there
pararaftanr2 Posted January 9, 2019 Share #7 Posted January 9, 2019 Yours look just like these, only used. I can see the word "Chicago" on the box, so US, but commercial wind, dust goggles, not military and not flying goggles.
