They're uncommon, but not exactly rare.

 

I'd stay away from this particular one though.

I am no expert but the Insignia looks too new to be on the helmet of that condition. Even though the condition of the helmet is good the painted Insignia looks newer

The battalion's helmets were painted by a member who had been a sign painter in civilian life. His methods ensured that each helmet was nearly identical, and this one doesn't match.
