*This was in the photos as well -- not sure if this took place in Haiti or not

 

 

Post 138 has a pic from Leatherneck Mag. That says VO-M9 based out of Bowen Field Port-au-Prince Haiti 1931 & 32. I suspect VO-M9 was in and out of Haiti at various “fields” until 1934.

The following photos and captions are courtesy of USMC History Division Photo library. They represent their current holdings for the period of USMC involvement until departure in 1935. There are hundreds to post, I will get as many as possible posted each day. The first set depicts;
