Teamski Posted November 12, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 12, 2018 I attended the Sunday Veteran's Day ceremony at the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover AFB. The event was really well attended and featured a local marching band playing WWI music with some serious skill. I really enjoyed the music as it is rare to hear WWI era music live like that. A keynote speech was made by a retired Army Colonel and several WWII vets were present including a B-17 pilot from the 486th BG out of Sudbury. Really cool. The decision to keep the ceremony on Sunday was done in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice, a classy call I must say. -Ski
