Here is the only one in my collection. It is hard to photograph due to the mirror like finish so one in natural lighting and one with flash.

I have no idea but the post closed in 1994.

That's almost 25 years ago. I sure would have thought I would have seen at least one or two

for sale by now.

Maybe it's because I'm an old geezer, but I think the older stuff has more character

and detail than the newer.

I must be old too, because I agree 100%. Its like the older AF Air Police badges. I’m glad I wasn’t in when they went to that shinny crap.

Not sure if this would count as an M.P. badge.

This was awarded/presented to a LTC in the infantry. I think it's from the 60s/70s1b2efb47eecf6b6ae1d93a7625f5ecd8.jpg6d6f5364d4a92ca3e8199dbffeb75b14.jpg

Firefighter, I can offer an opinion. This badge was worn by security guards and identified to the Kyumghwa Entertainment Co.

Kyumghwa is obviously a Korean company. My guess is that Lt.Col. Best was in charge of the security and other arrangements

for some celebrity or entertainer of note brought in by Kyumghwa to perform on or near the DMZ. That would explain why a high

ranking Infantry officer would be involved.

Thank you. That would make sense

Tact Squad hanger badge - Second Div. - Korea - 1960s

Tact Squad would return drunk or disorderly soldiers to their assigned unit

without formal arrest. Courtesy Patrols (CP) performed similar duty.
