patches Posted October 20, 2018 Share #3 Posted October 20, 2018 This is the more common one we think, Sawicki gives a 1926 adoption date for this one.
patches Posted October 20, 2018 Share #4 Posted October 20, 2018 The ones you have are basically exact copies of the regiments Coat of Arms sans the minuteman crest (minuteman crest denotes unit allotted to the Reserves which the 335th Infantry was in the 20s-30s). tredhed2 Posted October 20, 2018 Share #5 Posted October 20, 2018 Your 335th IR DIs are plastic variations, made in Germany at a known location, very uncommon, and very expensive.

patches Posted October 21, 2018 Share #11 Posted October 21, 2018 Dad was not in the 84th Here'a link to my topic "My Dad during WWII" http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/122123-my-dad-during-wwii/ Now here's another question, are you from Illinois? cause since he was a Paratrooper, was he ever in the Reserves after the war? cause this unit went Airborne as part of the 84th Airborne Division, which was in the reserves in Illinois. Tankpatches Posted October 24, 2018 Share #12 Posted October 24, 2018 There not plastic; there made of ceramic and fired on a metal plate be careful with them or they'll crack and yes they are fairly rare, even more so that this pair has no damage!!
