EE-8 field telephone cable

Hi Everyone, I bought a pair of EE-8 field telephones, and both sets need the handset cable replaced. Has anyone replaced one and have a seller and part number available? I don't know where to find a flexible cable like the original. Incidentally, they were bought from Colemans Military Surplus, and not in very good shape. One was labeled in French. I don't recommend them.

A google search for "Vintage Phone Parts" will net you several dozen websites that specialize in the parts you need.

 

Years ago, I bought some parts from "Old Phone Man" and had no problems.

It shouldn't be a problem to find the type of cords that you need.

I have a number for a man that I met at a Military Vehicle show.He may have some parts or info.PM for his phone number as I dont know if it would be correct to publicly post his number.

16-3 SO cord available at any electrical supply store is an exact match, used it on mine and it worked perfectly.

I've found some AC power cables that are the right size and color, and just as flexible as the phone cables. As an alternate, microphone cable would work, but much more expensive. Thanks to everyone for their replies.
