Came across an eBay post for an M1951 field cap with a camouflage pattern painted on it. Was this a common practice, and if so, I would love to see more examples.

Here's the ebay link. It honestly reminds me of a cold war era German camo from the. I recall a picture of US LRRPs in Europe wearing it. It's on a thread here somewhere, I'll try to conjure it up
