1900 hrs USO Dance Reflections at Lake Toccoa on Hwy 17A

0600 hrs - VFW Fundraiser Breakfast starts

0800 hrs Currahee Challenge at Currahee Mountain (3 miles up, 3 miles down!!)

0800 hrs Flag Raising

0900 hrs Dedication of Colonel Sink Exhibit at Camp Toccoa Military Museum

1100 hrs Weapons, equipment and parachute Demonstration

1300 hrs Veterans parade begins

1345 hrs Allied forces move to start positions for street battle

1400 hrs Street Battle begins

1445 hrs Re-enactment camps open

1545 hrs Tribute to Ed Doc Pepping Flag Pole

1800 hrs Banquet at Currahee Mountain Pavilion (separate ticket required)

Sunday

0800 hrs Memorial Service with Honor Guard Camp Toccoa at Currahee Mountain

hi bdale, interesting series of events, I would have liked to be there to see them, wishing you all a` successful time, an original flock print Tee shirt I acquired from a WWII Toccoa veteran, the British made and white tongue patches are just resting on the shirt

might go up again this year, since I live less than an hour away

 

I went last year and it was a nice small town event in the beautiful north Georgia mountains

 

I heartily recommend it
