Naval Mine at Antique Mall

Recommended Posts

This was only found, not acquired. I saw this mine at an antique mall in Joplin, MO over the weekend. Asking price was $2500.

After I asked how much they wanted, they said it had sold once but the guy who bought it brought it back after his neighborhood association voted that he could not have it in front of his house. Apparently the guy has some sort of cannon in front of his house that is ok, but a Naval mine is just too much.

I was going to go with "Holy Cow" but I see that has been taken - so Holy________________ (use your imagination). That is quite an item.

Just for the sake of asking, how would one know that there's nothing dangerous about it?

LOL, good one. Play on words though, rather have Claymore mine.
