1943collector Posted September 23, 2018 #1 Posted September 23, 2018 Gentleman Just acquired this DUI collection. From a relative that collected around the WW2 era. Have identified most have about 3-4 i have not found as yet. All mountings are threaded single post or single pin, think only 1 has the 2 pins. About 117 pcs. Can anyone give me a idea of it's value? Think 1 fell off. Again thanks Michael
KurtA Posted September 23, 2018 #2 Posted September 23, 2018 Is the 761st Tank Bn (4th row down, 2nd from right) sterling? Best way to establish value is to look them up individually under "sold" on ebay. (hallmarks can have a big impact on value) All pictured can be found there. There is certainly no premium in value being a "collection." In fact, groupings sold like this tend to sell on Ebay for very low per piece averages. If collectors see one or two key pieces in the lot, they bid based on those individual values with plans to just "blow out"the remainder to get their money back for the additional cost beyond that of the key pieces. Nice grouping of early examples.

Salvage Sailor Posted September 23, 2018 #4 Posted September 23, 2018 Nice collection. Who ever assembled them picked up quite a few from the Hawaiian Division and CAC units on Oahu
