photo is in email on I phone, now how to post on forum

Recommended Posts

If you have the image on your email, then simply drag it to your desktop and leave it there. You can, I suppose, send it to your phone as well, but that may not be necessary.

Then go here to this link to resize the image for USMF:

http://ben-major.com/tools/usmf-resize.php

When asked, post the url or image on that ^ page in the proper place.

Then go to whichever thread and forum you want to post the picture in, as a new topic or a reply.

It will ask you (at the bottom of the page) to insert the NEW (resized) url/image link there.

Then simply post what you want to post.

We also have an extensive forum devoted just to dealing with images, here:

Oversimplified on my part perhaps, and leaving out a few details, but maybe this will help?

Mortay idk what cell phone you have but here's the way I've always done it.

I use an IPhone. I take a photo with my phone.

I mail said photo to myself using the phones mail option. This also allows me to downsize or choice what size my file will be when I email it to me.

This way I'm able to pick a size that will fit on the forum.

Once mailed to myself I save it to my phone.

I then go to the forums website, using the desktop version on my phone not the mobile version.

I then upload the photo as I would normally. When I hit the upload button on the main site it directs me directly to my photos where I pick the photo that I mailed to myself and is 'sized' for the forum.

Hope this helps.

Wanted: Missouri Medals

I am always in search of Missouri Medals and Items. This could be anything from WW1, WW2, Prisoners of War, Ephemera, or anything pertaining to Missourians.

I thank you for your time and consideration.

I emailed photos to my email. I acquired the desktop version of forum on phone. When I get to choose file none of selections available such as browse, photo library and take photo are of no help. What am I missing or what step still needs to be done. Thanks
