pawtwo Posted September 12, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 12, 2018 Hello, In "American Web Equipment 1967-1991" authors stated that limited procurement LLCE belt was made from resin treated nylon webbing and utilized standard or davis buckle. Standarized on 23 nov belt was made without resin treatment to nylon webbing and davis buckle. I have one of these belts that markings are unreadable (in fact, the same looking sample with same looking markings was posted on forum few years back). How I can distinguish limited procurement belt from standarized belt? Did they differed in shade? Of course resin treated one should be stiffer than one without resin. Does ALICE LC-1 and LC-2 belts were resin treated so I can compare the one I have to them to find if it's resin treated? Belt is lighter green. It has properly marked Davis buckle on both male and female parts. I think that this is an standarized belt but I'm not sure.
